From September 4–9, I had the opportunity to visit several of our ministries in the Philippines.

Read on for a lowdown of each day.

DAY 1

On the first full day after arriving in the Philippines, I attended a meeting with our ministry to the Philippine National Police (PNP), as Goducate is the official partner of the PNP Moral Cleansing Program. The meeting took place in Calamba City at the regional police center of Region 4A, which oversees the police operations in six provinces. Around 100 police officers and pastors, who also serve in our program, were present.

That evening, I met with our Goducate Luzon team, who are involved in various programs like GoFeed (which feeds undernourished children in about 30 communities while also starting "community churches" in these areas), and GoYouth and GoScholars (which provide scholarships and Study Hubs equipped with laptops, Wi-Fi, and discipleship programs for underprivileged youth).

DAY 2

The following day, in downtown Iloilo, I had the privilege of officially opening the APIIS Counseling Center (which provides counseling services for pastors and church leaders) and the APIIS/Goducate Digital Hub (where digitally skilled young Christians edit the hundreds of Christian and educational videos that we produce monthly for our wide range of ministries).

DAY 3

On September 7, I spent the day with our team of about 40 people at the Goducate Training Center (GTC). The center, located on an 11-hectare property, includes income-generating facilities for family outings, church camps, and corporate events. The income generated is used to support missionary teams, who create educational and gospel content for millions of Filipinos and others around the world.

DAY 4

On Sunday, I preached at Doane Baptist Church in Iloilo, where we plan to train 400 evangelists through our Netcasters Evangelism program.

Later that evening, I met with our team at the Goducate Training Center, where we train community development workers.

DAY 5

And it was back to sunny Singapore!
