Dr. Paul Choo is a medical doctor by training. He started the Shenton Medical Group in 1973 with two partners, which later became one of the largest medical groups in Singapore. In 1995, he sold the medical group to a public-listed healthcare organization in Singapore and went into full-time Christian service.

He is also the founding Pastor of Gospel Light Christian Church (GLCC), where he served as a pastor for 20 years. During this time, he divided his time between pastoring and helping the poor communities in Asia. In 2007, he retired as a pastor to devote his time to helping the poor.

 

He currently chairs GLCC's Missions Board, and is actively pouring his life into helping poor Asians help themselves. For his contribution to the poor, he was selected as one of the “Asians of the Year” in 2011 by Channel News Asia.

Leong Lick Tien had worked for many years in the Singapore public service, having served in senior positions in various government organizations . He was a Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Central Provident Fund Board when he retired from the Board in 2007.

At present, Lick Tien is an elder at Gospel Light Christian Church and is on its Missions Board. He is also with a few non profit organizations involved in helping Asians help themselves.

Victor Yeo is a pioneer in the area of private equity/venture capital fund management in Asia. Prior to focusing his time on Goducate and church work, Victor served as the Vice President for the Private Investment Company for Asia (PICA) S.A. for 14 years and was very much involved in various direct investments undertaken by the company. He became the Executive Director in the management of the Elders PICA Asian Ventures Fund at its formation and later, joined the ASC Group as its Executive Director for the management of the US$80 million ASEAN Strategic Capital Fund, as well as the US$150 million ASC Asian Equity Fund.

 

After a decade with the ASC Group, Victor retired and devoted his time to voluntary church work. Currently, Victor serves as a pastor at Gospel Light Christian Church.
